ELK Eco Cycle Recycling Center
Elk Eco Cycle is a non-profit recycling center that serves Torrington, Goshen County, and surrounding Wyoming areas. Self-serve depositories are available for pre-sorted aluminum cans, clean steel cans, and cardboard.
Accepted Items (Must Be Pre-Sorted):
- Aluminum cans
- Brown paper
- Cardboard (broken down and flattened)
- Junk mail
- Magazines
- Newsprint
- Steel cans (must be rinsed and very clean)
- White office paper
Loose paper products must be delivered during business hours, usually 8-10AM M-F. Blue dumpsters for cardboard are located at select businesses throughout Torrington.
Items NOT Accepted:
- Co-mingled or contaminated products
- Glass (future)
- Milk cartons
- Plastic containers of any type
- Shredded paper
- Waxed cardboard

Donations
Small cash donations can be deposited at the recycling center; larger donations that need a receipt should be delivered to Platte Valley Bank, with checks made out to “The Community Pride Foundation” with a memo line of Elk Eco-Cycle.
