Torrington, WY — Gary Olson has been honored with an award for his exceptional vision and ability to see beyond the horizon. The Neil Newman Horizon Award, presented by Goshen Economic Development, recognizes individuals who demonstrate extraordinary vision and innovative thinking in their community service to Goshen County.
Throughout his career, Gary Olson has shown an exceptional ability to identify opportunities and develop creative solutions that push boundaries and challenge conventional thinking. His unique perspective and forward-thinking approach have enabled Goshen County to move forward.
Over the years, Gary Olson has donated his time and money to numerous boards and committees, cultivated two outstanding businesses, and advocated for shooting sports as a long-time Goshen County Sportsmen Club member. He has earned a reputation as a community leader with the grit to serve his community.
Goshen Economic Development – which includes Economic Development, the Goshen County Chamber of Commerce, and Main Street – is a non-profit organization that prioritizes the retention and expansion of local businesses. Since 1987, the organization has encouraged business growth, created jobs, and built on local community assets in five Wyoming municipalities: Fort Laramie, LaGrange, Lingle, Torrington, and Yoder.
