Summer Concert Series
Presented by Goshen Main Street, our annual summer concert series is free to the public, thanks to the generous contributions of local businesses and organizations.
Summer Concert Schedule
Concerts will be held from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. on the following Wednesdays at the block of East A & East 21st Ave.:
- June 5
- June 12
- June 19
- June 26
Concert Series Rules
- No smoking or vaping
- No dogs or pets, with the exception of service animals
- No outside alcohol

In addition to the concert, families can take part in fun games and activities.
Dress for 80s theme night (see schedule below) for a chance to win Goshen Bucks, and remember: BYOC – Bring Your Own Chair!

Chalk the Walk Contest
Rules
- Contest is open to all artists and will be divided into three age categories
- Chalk will be provided if needed, and may be picked up at Goshen County Public Library, Cowboy Clinic, Bloedorn Lumber Co., Go Goshen or Edward Jones – Ryan Yung office
- “Canvas area” is designated as at least one sidewalk square & up to three squares on Main Street and its adjacent side streets
- Stick to the designated theme each week to the best of your ability
- Be sure to find the “CHALK DESIGNS WELCOME HERE” signs at businesses or ask permission prior to beginning your artwork
- Contestants will have six days to complete and submit their artwork (Thursday through Tuesday following Wednesday night concert series events)
- Artwork must be submitted by Tuesday at 4 p.m. by posting to Facebook and tagging #gogoshen or emailing leann@gogoshen.com
- Artwork must be appropriate for family-friendly community viewing. Artwork containing nudity, profanity or anything deemed inappropriate by the committee will be removed and the artist will be disqualified
- Artwork will avoid political statements and advertising of alcohol or tobacco
- HAVE FUN!!!
Tips
- Use chalk sparingly, starting with a very light layer on the bottom and building up your layers
- A chalkboard eraser works great for laying down large areas of color
- Creating chalk paint by crushing chalk into water and using a paint brush is also helpful for filling in areas
