Torrington, WY – The Go Goshen Board of Directors are excited to unveil the NEW AND IMPROVED Progress Program. The Progress Program is a staple of Go Goshen, it utilizes the ¼ penny for economic development funding and reinvests it in Goshen County local businesses, non-profit organizations and municipal infrastructure projects. The funding matrix of the program was expanded due to the increase in sales tax that Goshen County has seen. Torrington, WY – Go Goshen CEO Brayden Connour announced today he is leaving Go Goshen. Connour has been the CEO since January 2022 and has accomplished many things for the betterment of Goshen County. President Jeff Jones said, "we are disappointed to see Brayden leave. How Goshen Solar Project Could Spark a Bright Economic Future
Until recently, renewable energy in Wyoming has been predominately wind turbines. With ample open space and a Tri-State transmission line running through Goshen County, it was only a matter of time before this area was seen as a potential location for a commercial/industrial sized solar farm. For example, Goshen Solar, LLC worked through the Wyoming Industrial Siting Council process to construct an approximately 1,200 acre industrial solar farm in the southwest portion of Goshen County.
