May 12, 2023 Torrington, WY --- The Goshen Economic Development Board of Directors awarded Thrifty’s Gas & Liquor $5,000 Progress Program funding to aid in a new façade on the building. Thrifty’s Gas & Liquor is located at 219 20th Ave in Torrington and recently upgraded the exterior façade of its convenience store. May 12, 2023 Torrington, WY --- The Goshen Economic Development Board of Directors awarded $2,500 to the Wes Anderson Insurance Agency to aid in the remodeling of the interior of their new office space at 1906 Main Street in Torrington. The remodel made the space more functional and appealing to the eye. Increasing office space will allow the Wes Anderson Insurance Agency to expand and hire future employees. STEAMBOAT CHIROPRACTIC – Progress Program Recipient
May 12, 2023 Torrington, WY --- The Goshen Economic Development Board of Directors awarded Steamboat Chiropractic $5,000 to help with the purchase of an XLR8 laser. The low-level laser is utilized in the practice to benefit patients and the conditions they are being treated for. Low-level laser therapy is low-intensity photonic energy used as a treatment modality for many conditions. May 12, 2023 Torrington, WY --- The Goshen Economic Development has awarded $7,500 Progress Program funding to aid M Lazy Heart Feeds in purchasing a delivery trailer and advertising tarping. M Lazy Heart Feeds is expanding their territory, and a planned delivery route will include Wyoming, northern Colorado, eastern Utah, southern Montana and western Nebraska. BAST Manufacturing – Progress Program Recipient
May 11, 2023 Torrington, WY --- Goshen Economic Development Board of Directors awarded BAST Manufacturing $5,000 to aid in their website build. BAST Manufacturing is the 2022 Goshen County Start-Up Challenge Winner and, more recently, the 2023 John P. Ellbogan $50K Entrepreneurship Competition winner. BAST Manufacturing utilizes a hemp media in its residential HVAC filters. They are currently producing small quantities of these filters with growth in mind.
