Election day is a month away!
On November 8th, you have an opportunity to vote “YES” to continue the ¼ penny sales tax for economic development.
Thanks to ¼ penny sales tax funds—just 1/400th of a dollar!—we’ve been able to:
- Assist local businesses with start-up, expansion, and relocation
- Fund community enhancement and infrastructure projects
- Host community-building annual events like 3rd Thursdays and the Goshen County Fair Parade

2. Tell your friends, family, and neighbors why you support the ¼ penny.
It’s important that your fellow voters know and understand its impact on our community. Here are some great resources you can share, all with specific examples of local projects that the ¼ penny made possible:
- How Goshen Economic Development Encourages Business Growth
- How Goshen Economic Development Creates Jobs
- Goshen Economic Development : What We’ve Accomplished Together
- Working Together to Take Care of Each Other
It not only makes sense for Goshen County; it actually makes cents (and dollars) for Goshen County businesses, municipalities, and nonprofits, too.
