TORRINGTON, WY – Go Goshen is proud to celebrate the successful completion of a Progress Program Capital Matching Grant project with M Lazy Heart Feed Store, a long-standing Goshen County business that continues to invest in its customers and community. Funded through the quarter-penny sales tax for economic development, the Progress Program reinvests local dollars in Goshen County to support business growth, strengthen commercial spaces, and enhance long-term economic vitality.

Through this project, M Lazy Heart Feed Store utilized $30,349.10 of Progress Program grant support to upgrade critical parts of its retail space, including installing new windows, updated retail-friendly doors, and new flooring to replace worn and damaged surfaces. These improvements not only modernize the business’s appearance but also create a more functional, welcoming, and customer-focused environment for the many residents, ranchers, and agricultural producers who rely on M Lazy Heart Feed Store.

“Projects like this reflect exactly what the Progress Program was designed to do,” said Go Goshen CEO Brian Young. “The quarter penny for economic development exists to help local businesses reinvest, improve, and remain strong community assets. M Lazy Heart Feed Store has been an important part of Goshen County, and these upgrades help ensure they can continue serving residents well into the future.”

M Lazy Heart Feed Store’s project reflects how targeted local investment can help Goshen County businesses strengthen their operations, improve customer spaces, and continue serving the community. By upgrading its storefront and retail environment, M Lazy Heart Feed Store is not only investing in its own future, but also reinforcing the role local businesses play in supporting Goshen County’s economy.
