Torrington, WY – May 5, 2025 – The Old Moose Coffee & Events has been awarded a Progress Program Grant for $7,181.40 to support the purchase of new stage, sound, and lighting equipment. This funding helped enhance the event space and improve the overall experience for performers and guests alike.

Located in Torrington, The Old Moose has quickly become a hub for community gatherings, pop-up events, live music, and private celebrations. The new upgrades will allow the venue to better accommodate a wide range of events, from intimate coffeehouse concerts to larger-scale performances and multimedia presentations.

The Progress Program Grant is made possible through Goshen County’s ¼ cent sales tax for Economic Development. Administered by the Go Goshen Progress Program Grant Committee, the program provides grants for various business needs, including infrastructure improvements, equipment upgrades, product development, e-commerce acceleration, and workforce training.
