Torrington, WY — A panel of local judges and the audience selected winners during the IMPACT Goshen County Pitch Night which was held on November 10th. The judges originally selected five finalists from a pool of over 90 applicants during the Start Up Challenge application period.

The finalists presented their new business ideas to the judge panel and live audience, for the opportunity to receive seed funding. The winners chosen by the judges were: Green Tree Ag, BAST Manufacturing and Afdahl Bits and Spurs. The Audience Choice Award, sponsored by First State Bank was BAST Manufacturing.

According to IMPACT Goshen County’s Assistant Director Brian Young: “It was a great night with good attendance on a cold November evening. The five judges were great and I look forward to working with the winners as we help launch their exciting, innovative companies with a goal of primary job creation.”

A special thanks for the generous support from our sponsors of the 2022 Goshen County Start-Up Challenge. The event is primarily sponsored by Goshen Economic Development, the Eastern Wyoming College Foundation, the Economic Development Administration, and the Wyoming Business Council.
