The grant will be used to help offset the cost of repairing its projectors. After the theater purchase, the projectors were found in disrepair and needing work. The work we get to do here at Goshen Economic Development is possible only because we have generous neighbors like you! Each year that you’ve chosen to renew the ¼ penny sales tax, which funds our Progress Program, we’ve been able to put those collected funds to work—a total of $1.2 million, to be exact—right here in our community. DIVERSIFIED SERVICES, INC (DSI) – PROGRESS PROGRAM
February 24, 2022 Torrington, WY --- Goshen Economic Development utilizing ¼ cent sales tax for economic development awarded funding to Diversified Services, Inc (DSI). The funding was used to purchase and install a new fire alarm system. DSI’s old system was riddled with issues, a new system was necessary for state compliance. DSI is a staple in the community with 44 employees that reside in Goshen County. TOWN OF LINGLE – PROGRESS PROGRAM
February 23, 2022 Torrington, WY --- Goshen Economic Development utilizing ¼ cent sales tax for economic development funds to help the Town of Lingle purchase a new Stryker stretcher for the Lingle Volunteer Fire Department and EMS. A new stretcher was needed as the old stretcher was 21 years old, worn, and uncomfortable for patients. The new stretcher has numerous features like hydraulic ran rise and drop, compatible with a 36” deck height vehicle, an oxygen bottle holder, steering lock and will make it easier to load and unload patients.
